Overview
Umut currently works with the Conveyancing team qualified as a solicitor in 2012. He actively acts for buyers and sellers in leasehold and freehold transactions. Umut also assist clients with Transfers of Equity and re-mortgages as well as equity releases. Living locally and with a deep understanding of the local market, he can offer a personal service. Umut has also acted in commercial property matters such as acquisition and disposal of shops, offices, and industrial units.
After working at a Higher Education Institution for a number of years, I have made a career change and joined the legal industry in 2007. Having worked at number of firms in London, Kent and Essex, I have joined Rainer Hughes as a property solicitor in January 2020.

Outside of work, I act as a governor in one of the local schools. I like travelling and watching football. In my spare time I also participate in amateur boxing and five-aside football.
